Where can Downtown Mesa Gift Cards be purchased?
Currently, Downtown Mesa Gift Cards may only be purchased online. Place an order online here (24 hours a day / 7 days a week).
What payment type(s) are accepted?
Online: Visa, Discover, Master Card, American Express and Google Pay.
In what amounts can the gift cards be purchased?
The cards can be purchased in any denomination from $10-$500.
Is there a limit to the number of gift cards that can be purchased?
No, there is no limit to the number of cards you can order.
Is there a fee to purchase a gift card?
Yes – there is a $2 activation fee per card.
How do I keep track of my balance?
You can check your gift card balance at www.getmybalance.com, or by calling 1.800.755.8713
What if I want to return items purchased with my Downtown Mesa Gift Card?
Depending on the retailer’s return policy, most participating merchants will give store credit for returns.
Can't you just email me the gift card?
Unfortunately, we cannot. The Downtown Mesa Gift Cards are physical cards.
Where is the gift card accepted?
The gift card is accepted at more than 30 Downtown Mesa businesses and growing. For an updated list of participating merchants, click here.
Why was my card 'declined' at a participating merchant?
It may be because your purchase exceeded the amount available on the gift card. This can be remedied by asking the merchant to ring in the exact amount on the gift card, then pay the balance with another form of payment.
I have an old Downtown Mesa Gift Card, is it still valid?
Unfortunately, the old Downtown Mesa gift cards are no longer accepted in downtown businesses and are not eligible for exchange or refund. If you have questions, please email DMAgiftcard@downtownmesa.com.
What if my card is lost/stolen?
Downtown Mesa is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards and therefore cannot provide replacement cards, as with all gift cards they are like cash. If you have any questions, please email DMAgiftcard@downtownmesa.com.
Can I redeem my gift card for cash?
Downtown Mesa Gift Cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash at anytime.
I'm a new downtown business, how do I sign up to take the gift card?
Downtown Mesa Association is excited to offer a new gift card program in support of our local shops, restaurants, breweries, salons, galleries, and services! With the retail gift card market expanding year after year, this program will stimulate economic activity, encourage local advocacy and shine a light on everything Downtown Mesa has to offer. The card is processed as a credit card transaction. All transactions processed on the gift card will be deposited to your business account just like any other credit transaction.
