Dode Morris VFW Post 1760 is a veterans service organization, congressionally chartered for combat veterans. Entirely volunteer led, we are here to serve veterans, their families, and our local community.
Post 1760 is named after a Mesa soldier killed in action in France during World War I. Chartered in 1929, Dove Morris VFW has been at their present location in downtown Mesa since the late 1940s. They are a veterans service organization with Section 501(c)(19) tax exempt status.
Their 125 person occupancy hall is available for public rental, as well as hosting public service organizations such as the Red Cross for blood donation drives.
Their canteen, extensively renovated during April 2020, is open to VFW members and VFW Auxiliary members. They extend courtesy access to members of other veteran organizations.
