Pijama Piyama began in 2019 as an imaginary collective of desert degenerates known as "El Grupo Afrutado." Pijama Piyama now exists as a six member band led by Jonathan Saillant who writes, arranges, and produces the music. Their music embraces the multicultural nuances of growing up in Phoenix, influenced by Latin Music, Jazz, video games, JUL 22 Frank Zappa and the world of psychedelia.
