Medicare is complex and evolving, it is a health insurance program for folks turning 65 years old and for people with certain disabilities. This seminar will give you a foundational understanding of Medicare— interactive questions are welcome as we navigate through the content discussed below.
You’ll learn how Medicare is administered and how Social Security Administration and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services work together.
We will discuss the different parts of Medicare, how to make informed decisions about coverage, and the broader categories of cost, restrictions, and additional benefits. We will cover the time period(s) in which you can elect/change your Medicare coverage and lastly, the penalties one could incur as it relates to Medicare’s actionable rules and deadlines.
