Mariachi Pasion was formed in April 2002. The group itself started in a music class at Arizona State University. On a whim and with a whole lot of “GANAS”, eight girls thought it would be fun to play for a close relative… the rest is “HERSTORY”! The group has grown into a fifteen-member group with the majority of musicians having worked their way through their education playing mariachi music!
The group has musicians that are educators, insurance agents, financial managers, health care professionals, marketing professionals, entrepreneurs, IT professionals, accountants, and engineers. There are also several musicians currently working their way through Arizona State University.
The heart of Mariachi Pasion is the group chemistry and the common love and respect for Mariachi music.
