GOLDEN DOWNTOWN MESA DAY

Join the community on Friday, February 18, 10:30am in front of the Downtown Mesa Mural (63 W Main St) for the first, annual celebration of our Golden Downtown Mesa Merchants. The Downtown Mesa Association (DMA) and the City of Mesa are honoring ten businesses that have been open and operating in Downtown Mesa for more than 50 years! In anniversary terms, that's the gold year, thus Golden Downtown Mesa Day.

The list of honored businesses includes Crismon’s Flowers (est. 1938), Dickson’s Jewelers (est. 1949), El Charro Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge (est. 1958), Lamb’s Shoe Repair (est. 1952), Lenhart's Ace Hardware (est. 1946), Mesa Typewriter Exchange (est. 1949), Milano Music Center/Linton-Milano Pianos & Music Lessons (est. 1946), Pete’s Fish & Chips (est. 1947), Pomeroy’s Men’s and Missionary Store (est. 1951), and The Nile Theater (est. 1924).

Downtown Mesa is unique in its rich history and long-lived local businesses. These icons deserve to be celebrated!
