Historic Downtown Mesa invites you to join the ghoulish fun during Nightmare on Main. Mesa’s 2nd Friday Night Out, the valley’s most unique art walk event, is haunting the streets on October 8 from 6 to 10 PM. This month’s theme is Nightmare on Main. Main Street from Center to Robson will be swarming with harrowing Halloween themed fun. Event attendees are encouraged to come out dressed as zombies, vampires, robots, superheroes, monsters, fairies, cosplay, or your own favorite costume. Stroll the streets and then enter the Trivia Contest at 7:30 PM on the OneOhOne Gallery patio. Win cool prizes.

There’ll also be a tour of a historic haunted basement inside OneOhOne Gallery at 8 PM located at 101 W. Main. Built in 1898, this building has a secret room, tunnels from the prohibition era, and spooky stories about the history of the building. See the creepy six-minute movie filmed in the basement. Past tour attendees have captured orbs when photographing. Limited tour tickets are only $3. Tickets go on sale at 6 PM on the OneOhOne Patio.

Plus 2nd Friday always offers lots of artists showcasing original art, fun entertainment, live bands, dining, gallery openings, and unique shopping opportunities. Shops and restaurants open late. Bring your dog, bring your kids, bring your sweetie, bring your grandma, or bring your favorite undead relative but don’t miss the fun from 6-10 PM on October 8 during Nightmare on Main!
