MESA — The 7th annual PHX Zine Fest takes place on Saturday and Sunday, August 19 and 20, from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. both days, at The Nile Theater (105 W. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85210). More than 85 artists and writers will come from Arizona and surrounding states to share their zines—small press publications, comics, photo books, and art—with an expected crowd of over 1,200 attendees. The event also features free screen printing demonstrations by There Space and a copperplate print demonstration.
The PHX Zine Fest's mission is to gather zine and paper enthusiasts in one annual event to connect with each other and new audiences and to share their artwork in paper form far and wide.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and operates under a safer spaces protocol. ***MASKS ARE REQUIRED.*** Support for the 7th annual PHX Zine Fest is provided by Zia Records, Bookman’s, Liquid Death, Changing Hands Bookstore, IDEA Museum, TrunkSpace, Related Records, Brick Road Coffee, and Stardust.
