Street Closures

Morris closed in both directions between Main Street and 1st Avenue for Edge on Main construction. Ongoing. Estimated re-opening November 10, 2026.

Southbound Robson closed between 2nd Street and 1st Street for Mesa Police Headquarters construction. Ongoing. Estimated re-opening November 24, 2026.

1st Avenue between Sirrine and Center Street will be closed for the Dia de los Muertos event. Begins October 22, 2026. Estimated re-opening October 25, 2026.

Macdonald Street (Pepper Place to Main Street) – Upcoming event closures:

  October 9 - Sunset Market 
October 14-17 - Mesa Music Festival 
October 24 - Haunting on Main Street 
October 29- November 1 - Arizona Craft Beer Festival 
November 5-7 - BBQ and Bluegrass Classic

Street & Sidewalk Restrictions

1st Street between Country Club and Mesa Drive will experience multiple restrictions for ADA ramp replacement. Ongoing. Estimated completion November 30, 2026.

University Drive between Country Club and Mesa Drive will experience multiple restrictions for Verizon infrastructure improvements. Ongoing. Estimated completion October 9, 2026.

Main Street between Country Club and Mesa Drive will experience multiple restrictions for Verizon infrastructure improvements. Begins October 5, 2026. Estimated completion October 21, 2026.

Sirrine south of 2nd Ave will experience sidewalk and shoulder restrictions for concrete replacement. Begins October 8, 2026. Estimated completion: October 9, 2026.

Westbound Broadway, between Mesa Drive and Country Club, will have lane and sidewalk restrictions for concrete replacement. Begins October 8, 2026. Estimated completion October 9, 2026.
