Stereohead was formed by members of Calumet, the Groove Merchants, and the Mark Long Band, three popular, long-time Arizona groups. With a focus on all-time great songs in several genres, Stereohead is at home in any musical setting. Jason Mitchell (guitar/vocal/bass), Eric Mobley (keyboards/vocal/guitar/bass), and Julian Mitchell (drums/vocal) swap instruments throughout a set to cover the parts of classic and modern favorites.
Featuring the soulful vocals of Eric, tight 2- and 3-part harmony singing, and a unique, but familiar song list, Stereohead delves into rock, pop, blues, soul, country, and more. In addition to performing as a trio, 4 and 5 piece versions of the band are also available, creating an even fuller sound which can feature saxophone or another instrumentalist.
