Details
Celebrate the Black and Brown women who demonstrated courageous efforts of community activism, artistry and kinship in the face of racism and misogyny. These matriarchs of Washington Park will be honored through a series of portraits. Curator Bruce Nelson has assembled a talented group of artists to create these paintings: Carla Keaton, Todd Bailey and Brie Bartz.
