In this class we’ll explore the very basics of getting started on your metalsmithing journey. We’ll be working with copper and brass, and we’ll be doing some sawing, filing, sanding, texturing, and riveting. If we have enough time, we can also touch on patina-applying and polishing.
This event is 7 hours. We’ll have a break for lunch and you’re welcome to bring a packed lunch. There are also plenty of good restaurant options within walking distance, but keep in mind the break is only an hour long.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Liability Waiver for review. This waiver is required before taking classes or using tools at HeatSync Labs.
