Details
Drop in to Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum April through June to learn basic crochet and webbing techniques using a variety of tools and materials. Then add your creations to the newest installation from designer Galina Mihaleva, "Interlaced: The Fabric of Connection." The installation will be on view during the Fall 2026 season.
Join us for a crochet workshop led by designer Galina Mihaleva in the Immersive Gallery to weave your story into our collaborative sound cocoon. Mihaleva will teach participants how to do crochet and webbing basics using a variety of tools and materials including conductive thread and simple LED integration.
Workshop Dates:
Fri, April 10 | 6:00 PM-10:00 PM (Art After Dark) - Registration required.
Sat, April 11 | 10:00 AM-12:00 PM (Family Day)
