Friday Hand-Building Pottery Workshop
Greenbelt Plants & Pottery

Get hands-on with clay in this beginner-friendly pottery workshop at Greenbelt Plants & Pottery. Using slab-building techniques, you’ll create a custom ceramic piece — functional, decorative, or anything in between.
With guided instruction, you’ll learn essential handbuilding skills including cutting, slip and scoring, shaping, and finishing. You’ll also add texture and underglaze decoration to personalize your piece before it’s fired in our kiln.
This workshop is designed for all experience levels. Class size is limited to keep things relaxed and hands-on.
Time Commitment: Please plan for at least 2.5 hours or more, depending on your project and pace.
Pickup Timeline: Your finished, fired piece will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks, allowing time for drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing.
