Details
Create a Frida Kahlo inspired journal with Wendy Cone, on November 2, 2024 at the 101 Gallery. We will create a bound journal with a hidden spine, along with extra elements to add inside, including a sacred heart. There will be minimal machine and hand sewing. Please bring your own scissors and glue (glue stick, tacky glue and/or fabri-tac) if you have any of those. All other materials will be provided for the class. Cost is $125.00 per person.
I have been creating my whole life and have an AA degree in art ~ Pencil drawings, oil painted portraits, jewelry, wire sculptures and for the last 10 years art journals. The journals have allowed me to work with fabrics, laces, papers and include my little wire jewelry sculptures inside as well.
