Downtown Mesa is home to more than 30 unique sculptures that add beauty, creativity, and character to our community. Volunteers are invited to help us wash and polish these treasured works of public art so they can continue to SHINE for residents and visitors.

Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026
Time: 8:00–10:00 AM
Meeting Location: 100 N. Center Street, Mesa, AZ 85201

What Volunteers Will Do:

• Select or be assigned a sculpture
• Wash, dry, and polish the artwork using provided supplies
• Work individually or alongside a small team
• Help keep the surrounding area clean
• Notify DMA staff of any visible damage or maintenance concerns

What to Bring:

• A refillable water bottle
• Comfortable clothing that can get wet or dirty
• Closed-toe shoes
• Sunscreen and a hat are recommended

All cleaning supplies and instructions will be provided. No previous experience is necessary, and volunteers of all ages are welcome. Children must remain with a supervising adult.
