This intimate evening at Cider Corps and the non-profit 22 Jumps is dedicated to spotlighting advances in veteran-based research on traumatic brain injuries.

The dinner will pair dishes from some of the Valley’s top chefs with Cider Corps ciders.

Speakers include two representatives of Cohen Veterans Bioscience (CVB) — Nicole Bjorklund, Ph.D. and Maryan Zirkle, M.D. — who will present "Advancing Solutions for Brain Trauma from Theory to Therapeutics". CVB is a world leader in utilizing big data techniques to develop testing and therapeutics for TBI and PTSD.

All proceeds during the night will go to 22 Jumps — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that utilizes BASE jumping as a fundraising platform to support the development of short-term and long-term TBI solutions. 22 Jumps was established in 2020 in memory of SGT Kiernan Wimmer, the founder's brother and fellow marine. Kiernan suffered a massive TBI in Al Anbar, Iraq in 2006 and his quality of life deteriorated over the next nine years until he took his own life in 2015.
