Looking for a welcoming place to play American Mahjong, practice your skills, and meet other players? Join us for Mahjong Open Play at The Boutique in Downtown Mesa!
Whether you've taken our Mahjong 101 or Mahjong 102 classes—or learned somewhere else—Open Play is the perfect opportunity to gain experience, sharpen your strategy, and enjoy a fun, social game with fellow Mahjong players.

To keep our tables organized and ensure every seat is filled, Open Play uses a simple two-step reservation process:

How to Reserve Your Seat:

This two-step process helps us prevent no-shows from holding seats and allows us to keep every table full so everyone has the opportunity to play.

Join our Open Play "Mahjong" Frenzy—a fun 8 week competition to reward players for getting out and playing! Starts August 1st and goes through September 30th! *no purchase necessary to win *you may join at any time throughout the 8 weeks.

Each official Mahjong you complete during all Open Play sessions is recorded on our Mahjong Frenzy Leaderboard. At the end of each season, the player with the most verified Mahjongs will receive their choice of:

*$100 Gift Card towards ANY Oh My Mahjong Tile Set

Whether you're playing to win or just looking to improve your game, Mahjong Frenzy is a fun way to challenge yourself while becoming part of our growing Mahjong community.

- American Mahjong Open Play hosted at The Boutique in Downtown Mesa, Arizona
- Designed for players who already know the basics of American Mahjong
- Great for practicing, meeting new players, and improving your strategy
- $5 per person for a 2-hour Open Play session (12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm)
- Additional play time available when space permits
- Night Play sessions available on select evenings
- All Mahjong tiles, racks, pushers, mats, dice, and automatic shufflers provided
- NMJL Playing Card not included (available for purchase while supplies last)
- Follow the two-step reservation process to secure your seat
- Purchase reserves one seat at an available Open Play table

*Walk-ins are welcome if seats are available. Reserved seats may be released after 5 minutes if a player has not arrived and there is a waitlist.
