Already know the basics of Mahjong and ready to level up your game? Mahjong 102 at The Boutique in Downtown Mesa is designed for players who know how to play but want to become more confident, strategic, and competitive.

This class goes beyond the basics and focuses on the "why" behind every decision. We'll cover choosing a hand, Charleston strategy, defensive play, calling tiles, joker strategy, reading the National Mah Jongg League card, and recognizing opportunities throughout the game. You'll leave feeling more confident making decisions instead of second-guessing every discard.
Whether you've taken our Mahjong 101 class or you've played a handful of games with friends, Mahjong 102 is the perfect next step to help you become a stronger player.
