Mesa is an All-America City and we want you to celebrate with us!
Visit special exhibits at each of our three library locations to find the secret word and then complete the special phrase to be entered in a drawing for a commemorative Mesa All-America City/State Forty-Eight shirt!
Take a selfie and use the hashtag “Together Mesa”!
The Exhibits
Exhibits will be on display Dec. 1 through mid-January and feature creative designs and art from Mesa’s All-America City competition entry by Valley artist Jayarr Steiner.
- Main Library features photos and excerpts from Mesa’s 1979 & 2023 All-America City wins
- Red Mountain Library features a selfie-station display representing Mesa’s All-America City community delegation and award theme “Creating Thriving Communities through Youth Engagement.”
- Dobson Ranch Library spotlights Mesa’s youth-based programs
- BONUS Main Street storefront display at 111 W. Main St.

All-America City Day is designed to honor Mesa's prestigious national title and the extraordinary qualities that define our city's greatness. Our event theme will transport you back in time, radiating a nostalgic hometown celebration vibe. This vibrant celebration will showcase the kaleidoscope of diversity within our community through youth performances, electrifying local entertainment, an abundance of free-spirited fun and games, and a whole lot more!
