Arizona Museum for Youth

This City of Mesa facility features art exhibitions and hands-on activities that introduce basic art elements to children between birth and 12 years old and their families. In Artville, the city made of art, children under 5 gain awareness of color, line, shape and texture.

Arizona Museum of Natural History

(formerly Mesa Southwest Museum)

Arizona's premier museum of cultural and natural history includes, among many other things, changing visual art exhibitions. The museum also has its own art collections covering everything from dolls, religion and Native Americans to dinosaurs, folk art and landscape photography.

Mesa Art League

Mesa Art League has been promoting the arts in Mesa since 1936. In addition to showing its art at a variety of shows and special events, the league has two fine art galleries within the square mile of downtown Mesa (others are located beyond downtown). The following venues at East Valley Senior Services and Center Against Family Violence feature displays of paintings, drawings, photography and other media that rotate every two or three months.
